Most students have little exposure in Urdu and/or Urdu poetry. The idea is to bring Urdu poetry in its most understandable form to those of the Indian Sub-continent or the local population who have basic knowledge of Urdu and would like to be exposed to the wonderful traditions of a Mushaira.

Renowned local poets will present their “EZEE Kalaam” and have English  translations available at the venue. Interested students are encouraged to either read their own or someone else’s kalaam that they like.

Apart from student presenters, we have three confirmed renowned local poets

Janab Maarij Kirmani

Janab Dr. Jamal Qadri and

Dr. Muneebur Rahman (alig), Director, Boston Language Institute.
